New Age Magicka Tank

Over the course of the last few months on console, major changes have caused jumps in builds. I started out as a Breton magicka tank. The build was great I could stand in any aoe and just heal myself threw it. Never needed the healer to save my back side.

Then the changes started, I noticed immediately that I no longer could stand on my own as a magicka tank/self healer. I relied hugely on the group healer. So I went to the all to common stam build.

Looking to  the future, the light may once again shine down on us magicka templar tanks. With the release of ic the beast set Armor Master was a huge save. My current armor sets.

5x armor master.

4x seducer.

3x willpower.

However I’m still looking to the future, orsinium. With the release of the upcoming dlc a heavy magicka set permafrost. This set from what I have read about it is a magicka based heavy set with rings. That said I hope it includes the necklace. It would allow any magicka tank to run two 5 set armors with a monster helm and sholder. Making us just as good as the stam builds. This is just a hope full build and can’t be set in stone yet so I won’t go into the champion points or skills just yet.

2 piece engine guardian.

Sword of the armor master, trait is piercing, enchant gliph of hardening.

Shield of the armor master, trait nirnhoned, gliph of max magicka.

Bar 2 same as bar 1

Helm- engine guardian

Sholders- engine guardian

Chest of armor master, enfused, enchant gliph of max magicka.

Gloves of permafrost set

Belt of permafrost set

Greaves of the armor master, enfused, enchant gliph of max magicka

Boots of the armor master, nirnhoned, enchant gliph of max magicka.

Necklace of permafrost set

Ring 1+2 of permafrost.

Again this is still just a hope and dream for those of us who loved to use our class abilities as magicka templar tanks. It has not been made clear what the permafrost set will include so this is just a wishful thinking set.
