DK Tank concept for PvE(infinite magicka build), need feed back

Howdy All,

I have been stalking these forums for some time and this is my first post.  I have a theory i would like some expert advice on for DK tanking.  It is based on some gear i am working on getting.

Gear

Masters Sword – Heal on Puncture use

Scourge Harvester x 2 – Monster Set with 6% chance to damage target and heal you for damage done, increases healing by 30% while beam to target is active  << This is important

Leeching plate x 5 – from imperial prison, 8% change to do damage per second over 5.5 seconds and heal you for damage done.

Endurance Set x 2 healthy enchanted with lower block/bash

Agility Set x 2 healthy enchanted with lower block/bash

Shield would be one of the 4 set pieces, tri glyph or whatever you prefer.

 

Skills – only highlighting what would be different from normal tank builds or needed for this one

Igneous Shield – Gives you that lovely healing buff

Equilibrium – Mages guild skill, trade life for magic, No CD, as long as you have health you have Mana, and your build is all about generating heals from getting hit.

Draw Essence – Inhale line from DK, heals and restores magic per enemy hit, more healing sustained AE damage with minor magic return

Shooting Star – High Damage, AE Dot, Fills Ult bar super fast for more overall resource generation. Banner or Molten armor on one bar.

Rest would be your normal tank set up, Puncture, caltrops/cinder storm, Fiery chains ect.

Stats

Pump Points into health until you feel comfortable with chewing on yourself then go the rest Stam, you will be cannilbalizing your HP for mana so you can spam more igneous shield/inhale or whatever your heart desires, Igneous shield for stamina regen to beef up the passive healing.

CP

standard tanky CPs, but all points should be pored into blessed for added healing from your heals.

 

The why, or what do you see this doing for you?

Number one, AE threat.  After using the Scourge harvester set for a little while i noticed something interesting, in darkshade on grobull and the last fight in Banished cells, all of the adds would come to me instantly.  I wouldnt taunt or do anything to them, i realized the heals from this set was generating massive passive aggro and the more stuff that beat on me the more it procced and the easier it was to keep everything in a room looking at me.  I wasnt even having to taunt after a point, the ranged shot at me, the boss stayed on me, and i was free to spend magic helping DPS stuff down while i blocked and kept Damage shields rolling on everyone.  Meteor would stay up on large pulls constantly so i could spam it keep resources up and do some solid damage as the tank.

I havent had the luck in vDSA to get a masters Sword yet, and Imperial Prison is being a PITA with its drop rates, gottem most of the scathing mage, some combat healer and a few of all of the leather sets, but i have only gotten the Leeching Helm(not even something i will use) so far.  Group mates have seen between the 3 of them the full leeching plate set though… so there is hope i can get it one day.

 

I would like some folk more educated in the ways of Elder Scroll Theory Crafting to pick apart the Idea, expand on it and see if this is something worth going after.  Skill ideas, Fleshed out Build Ideas and the like are welcome.  I’m curious to see what the community can do with this idea, i have a skeleton concept but would like some advice on how to best make it work to its full potential.
