Players requesting an "Auction House".

So as the title suggests I would like to ask this community what the setiments are on this subject. I have read countless viral threads on the official forums that always lead to personal attacks and stray from constructive thought.

I personally like the current system. In my eyes I think it prevents manipulation by the small percent that would “camp” an Auction House/Global trader whom would buy and resell at grossly marked up prices.

It’s seems to make gold farmers scarce whom are forced to join a guild. Some have pointed out that a Global trader would be insanity as a 100+ thousand would be listing on a mega server vs. the traditional mmo in multiple small server settings, maybe 10-15k accounts.

I personally could only fathom trading on such a mega server, for instance crafting materials the under-cutting would be rampant to the point prices would be hovering at nearly just vendoring items from my perspective.

I think having a guild trader in the most desirable spots costing millions of gold weekly is an intelligent gold sink design for the overall ESO economy not allowing the “big players” to just hock wares for giant numbers with no repercussion. As most of these guilds require a weekly payment from members and generate 100’s of thousands more internally through other means removing fluid gold from the community.

My thoughts and wishes moving forward with the current design would be streamlining the system. A search function, price per unit on mouse over and a lowest to highest price on searched items just for starters.

What are your thoughts and what would you like to see or not see?
