The Scholar

I’m creating a sorc class that I refer to as ‘The Scholar.’  This is to indicate that the class is essentially a class based on learning, which seems to be an aspect to mages in general.  Anyway, such a class could be developed in a variety of ways but my goal is that it doesn’t really use ‘magic’ abilities.  Why use a sorc as the foundation for such a class?  This is because of the Daedric Summoning skill line, which could result, in my estimation, from scholarly activity rather than magic ability.  The other aspects of the build come from the weapon skill trees.  So a ‘scholar’ class would be any class that used Daedric Summoning and (likely) weapon(s) skill line (some may use a non-magic guild skill line).

My ‘scholar’ is only at level 19 so far, and, hence, I don’t have too many details yet (that would come with veteran ranking, for example).  Nonetheless, he is a healer and uses a bow.  So the main three skill lines the constitute my ‘scholar’ are Daedric Summoning, restoration staff and bow.  So far he has been great for leveling and non-veteran dungeons (healing better than my templar even).

Here are my ability bars:

Bar One: Bow

Scorched Earth

Venom Arrow (to be replaced with Lethal Arrow)

Bombard

Unstable Clannfear

Summon Restoring Twilight

Bar Two: Restoration Staff

Illustrious Healing

Rapid Regeneration

Blessing of Restoration

Unstable Clannfear

Summon Restoring Twilight

I keep the pets on both so that they are always present.

This build is in its initial stages, but I like it.  I will update as I go along.
