I haven’t played in a while and with several new DLCs already in or just about to launch, I would like to give ESO another try. Considering all changes in 2.0, I will start a new char.
I know I will use Redguard, but now I found myself in a bind. If I use Redguard, I should also use Daggerfall covenant alliance, as it’s the native Redguard alliance and I would not be fighting against my own race when questing 1-50. But according to some and considering the number of Alliance posts on Tamriel foundry, DC has the lowest population and that could make 1-50 and Vet levels feel “empty”. Considering that questing, dungeons, World bosses and many other parts of ESO feel better if you are doing them while having the perception of playing in a “real” world, meaning seeing others around you, doing their thing, I would prefer to play in Alliance with the biggest population.
So, now I have to decide if I want to play in a non Redguard native alliance and have the benefit of more players to play with, but fight my own kind, or play in my own alliance and risk feeling alone, like I have in the past?
I know there are no accurate numbers, but how do you see alliance populations? Are differences really as big as some make them to be? Is DC still less populated then other two? Which alliance fights Redguards (or DC) more in 1-50? EP or AD? I am interested in PVE and PVP.
