Technical Support: GeForce and Windows 10

Hey guys.

I have another question.  This one isn’t so much about the game itself though it directly effects the game’s performance.   I have serious lag issues that didn’t have until several months ago.  My FPS lately runs at about 10 with a ping anywhere between 100 to 400 or higher, often times reaching that dreaded 999+ range.  I’ve asked about this on here before and done everything I can to try to fix it and I think what it boils down to is that my graphic card is no longer compatible with my CPU since “upgrading” to Windows 10.  I’ve provided specs below:

GPU:  GeForce GT 630
CPU:  AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor
Memory:  4.00 GB RAM (4.00 GB usable)
Current Resolution:  1366 x 768, 60Hz
Driver Version:  364.51
Operating System:  Microsoft Windows 10 Home

All of that is according to my GeForce Experience app.  I’ve done endless research online and some users state that GeForce GT 630 is NOT compatible with Windows 10, while others claim it is, while others still claim you have to update and download and so on.  The extent of my computer knowledge is tiny honestly, but I’ve done my research and pretty sure my lag/fps/ping issues started when I “upgraded” to Windows 10 and that for some reason my CPU isn’t communicating or cooperating with my GPU in some way, shape or form.  Before I switched to Windows 10, the game ran just fine.  Usually running around 80 ping with 35 – 45 fps and damn near 70 fps in dungeons.  I’ve also since upgraded to the fastest and best internet my city has to offer and yet still, it is virtually impossible to play ESO with the current FPS it runs with.  It’s not just Wrothgar, it’s all zones.  Also, other games seem to run fine.

Anybody here tech/computer savvy?  Any advice, hints, tips, tricks, criticisms?  Anything at all to help me get this issue resolved and back into the land I love (Tamriel) would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.  It’s probably important to note that the specs info SAYS my current driver version is 364.51, however, it only downloaded the file and never installed it.  Said it wasn’t compatible with my current version of Windows, which only supports my theory that my issue is with Windows 10.  So maybe Windows itself needs a fix?
