Stam DK – PVP 2h & 1h/s build (first build post – critique plz)

The idea of this build is based on Lefty Lucy’s Deadly Fortress build, but with adaptations to meet the demands of current meta; with inspiration from Vir Cor. I am still leveling through the veteran ranks so I’m not going to get into gear choices. This build is intended to be capable of leveling and progress into a pvp build without respec.

Race: Nord (6% dmg reduction)

Armor: 5 Medium, 2 Heavy – going for the DPS passives from Medium but run 2 heavies for some added armor and passives

Mundus Stone: The Warrior or The Tower, haven’t decided yet (using Warrior atm)

• Skills:
  • 1h/s Bar:
    • Heroic Slash – main 1h dps skills, generates tons of ultimate for frequent dragon leaps, also reduces enemy dmg by 15%
    • Invasion – gap closer and CC stun
    • Unstable Flame – Strong stamina based DoT
    • Igneous Shield – with Earthen passives turns magicka into stamina, applies a shield and increases my healing by 30%
    • Resolving Vigor – great aoe heal, 2x heals to self
    • Ultimate: Ferocious Leap – great damage, great damage shield, and with earthen passives regens attributes by 70%
  • 2h Bar:
    • Wrecking Blow – burst damage, when it hits… but worth a swing or two, esp after invasion stun if they don’t break it
    • Burning Breath – great DoT (like unstable flame) and reduced enemy armor by a decent chunk
    • Shuffle – 20% dodge and breaks snares!
    • Volatile Armor – boosts physical and spell resistances by 8,000 for 20 seconds, dmg back to melee attackers, aoe dmg to get ppl out of stealth
    • Rally – great dmg buff and HoT
    • Ultimate: Werewolf – I know some people love corrosive armor here but I just love being a werewolf
• Champion Points (only have 30 for each type available at the moment)
  • The Ritual:
    • 30 in mighty (75 eventually)
      • plan on putting some into blessed and elemental expert
  • The Tower
    • 15 into Warlordplan to put about 50 into warlord, 15 bashing focus, 10 magician
  • The Lover
    • 10 into mooncalf – will eventually do 50 or so
  • The Shadow
    • 5 into Tumbling – will eventually do 46 or so
  • The Steed
    • 15 into Spell Shield
    • 15 into Resistant
      • will eventually do Block Expertise 30, Spell Shield 35, Resistant 55
  • The Lady
    • nothing yet, but plan on putting the rest into Hardy
