After finishing the other three classes, its time for the DK! Special thanks goes out to @pretzl and @benawaw89 for their guides from which this guide borrowed info.

Class:

1. Dunmer – since the only elemental damage we have is fire damage, a dunmer is the best choice for maximizing our DPS.

2. Altmer – a more well rounded choice that gets extra regen, 1 % max magicka but 3% less fire damage.

3. Breton – offers the highest sustain, but the lowest damage boosts.

Attributes:

All in Magicka

Food:

Health and Magicka

Mundus:

Thief and Shadow

Champion Point Distribution:

Blue tree:

My DoT’s account for around 50-60% of my damage, while staff weave (medium weave) is closer to 15-20%. By inputting these ratios into @Asayre‘s worksheet I got the following spread:

TBS(Sharpened): 100 in Elemental Expert, 27 in Thaumaturge, 22 in Elfborn and 18 in Spell Erosion.

TBS (Precise only with Alkosh): 100 in Elemental Expert, 28 in Thaumaturge, 22 in Elfborn and 17 in Spell Erosion.

Red tree:

Points evenly across Hardy, Thick Skinned and Elemental Defender

Green tree:

100 into reduced cost, the rest into regen.

Gear choice 1:

5 piece Twice Born Star set full divines with Magicka enchants

3 Piece Moondancer Jewelry Arcane with full Spell Damage enchants

2 Piece Moondancer sharpened swords (Back bar)

1 Sharpened Maelstrom Inferno Staff (Main Bar)

2 piece Skoria (or Nerieneth or Kena) armor divines with Magicka enchants.

Everyone that says that DW is not worth it on the bar, will have to agree that an extra 448 (or 560 with major and minor boosts) spell damage for 30 seconds is hard to pass up, or 448 regen for 30 seconds on those trash pulls…mmm Yummy. This setup basically builds on @pretzl‘s build and combines it with @banawaw89’s build. You can keep your Kena if you want or switch to Skoria. That additional spell damage bonus plus the 5% extra damage from DW makes DW an uncontested winner for the back bar choice. Switch between Kena and Skoria based on preference, I for one will never be using Kena, since the sustain w/ it is awful for long fights. Skoria offers a nice second best choice, and when combined with Medium weave damage, outparses Kena. Nerieneth is another option and since we weave quite a lot, it could prove a nice DPS boost, but I have yet to test it. I will have to do a few more tests to compare which of these two works better.

Bar Setup:

Dk’s are fairly inflexible in their choices as far as skill options. The only thing you could really change out is the Rearming trap.

Main Bar: Inner Light, Burning Embers, Burning Breath, Elemental Blockade, Molten Whip. Ultimate – Shooting Star

Offbar: Inner Light, Eruption, Burning Talons, Rearming Trap, Flames of Oblivion. Ultimate – Standard of Might.

Rotation:

Step 1: Eruption>Flames of Oblivion>Rearming trap> Standard of Might

Step 2: Burning Breath>Medium Weave>Burning Embers>Medium weave>Elemental Blockade>Medium Weave

Step 3: (Whip>Medium Weave) x 6

Restart at Step 1.

This setup allows the greatest AoE damage with an enhanced Single Target damage and a large decrease on sustain issues, since you will not be using Kena. The AoE damage may be second only to Nightblades, but we are toe to toe.

Parses will be incoming.

There is another theory I have regarding the use of Dual Wield, but since I do not have enough data to support it I will for now abstain from posting it here, but here is a short version. I believe that if LA contribute less than 11% of your overall damage DW mainbar may be viable.
