Hail! I, First Watcher Ilric, am recruiting Watchers. For now, we are no one. But with your help we can be an elite order that secures peace and order through Tamriel.
We, or I for now, accept anyone, as long as you’re capable. We have a strict and structural ranking system:
First Watcher: Leader of the order. Rules everything from the keep (once we have one).
High Constable: Second-in-command of the First Watcher. Orders the guild under the First Watcher’s approval or when the First Watcher is unavailable.
Chamberlain of the Watchers: Archivist of the order. Checks resources regularly and accepts reports of the commander(s).
Commander of the Watchers: Leader of the Grey Watchers in a given area. Under normal circumstances under little direction by the order. Most Commanders run their respective branches as they see fit. They can be summoned to the keep by the First Watcher at any time.
Constable of the Watchers: Commander’s second-in-command. Acts as the field commander and steps in when the Commander is away.
Senior Watcher: Commands a small group of Wardens or undertakes special missions.
Watcher: Member of the order who has survived the Test.
Watcher Recruit: Individual selected to join the Watchers, but not jet passed the Test. Names of those who fail the test are kept at the keep in honour.
You can be demoted or fired from the order entirely if you act or do something your higher-ups don’t approve of.
Senior Watchers send reports of foundings to their Commander or Constable. Commanders and their Constable(s) send those reports to the Chamberlain.
The First Watcher and the High Constable discuss plans together, and only if both agree to a plan can the High Constable give orders to others.
The Test: The Test includes slaying a powerful enemy or a complex task, however the Commander sees fit. If you survive, you’re in. You fail, you’re out. Forever. Everyone can join, as long as the Commander sees potential in you. Be aware! You must know that our current First Watcher is under the banner of the Ebonheart Pact.
So you joined. Now what? We expect our Watchers to secure order. Which means: Do quests in and out of Cyrodiil, get rid of Oblivion Anchors, etc.. Just do good for the people out there.
We also need craftsman. People who can supply our order with weapons, armor, potions, that kind of stuff. Also, once we have a keep, we need you to be ready at any time to protect it when it gets attacked.
What benefits do you get by becoming a Watcher? Besides pride and honor, you’ll find yourself along the best men of Tamriel. A helpful and friendly community, and acces to the guild bank at anytime (Recruits and Watchers won’t be able to move money, that’ll go via your Commander/Constable) and access to supplies. All Watchers can trade with eachother, regardless of rank.
And if course, rules:
- Listen to your higher-ups. They are your leaders, your bosses. You do as they say.
- Be nice. Doesn’t matter to who: you don’t harm anyone, and you respect them.
- Be sure to report to your respective leader (explained above). We want to know what comes in and goes out, and what recourses/creatures are found where.
- If you ever have a complaint, sent them to your respective leader. (If you think your leader is holding back a complaint, feel free to report them to the Chamberlain, High Constable or First Watcher.)
- Since this guild is slightly oriented around roleplay, we ask you to have at least a decent name visible in your username which we can use to adress you as, or make one up.
- We would prefer you keep your armor dyed in any grey hue.
Do you feel like you can be one of the Grey Watchers? Sign up now! Sent me a PM and I’ll see to recruit you.
