Hey all, I recently picked up the game and I am playing with a friend who is using a ranged character. I’d like to pick a melee DPS/tank that I can level alongside him.
I’m looking at DK or Templar, but I know the other two can do melee DPS too. Which one could you recommend for good damage but also a tanking option down the line for endgame PVE? How does Stamplar, StamDK and StamNB differentiate with melee? What are they better at (for example, is one better self heals but other is better team utility, etc? Or one outclasses another in damage?)
Lastly, which races would you recommend? For DK I would be either Dunmer or Imperial.
