To start out with this build is still a work in progress and many things could still be optimised, however this character has had no trouble in completing trials and vet dungeons and works very well as an off healer.

Trials complete with this build so far:

Sanctum Ophidia; Hel Ra Citadel

Strengths and Weaknesses:

+Can easily tank Endgame content and has near capped spell and physical resistance when buffed

+Great Resource Management (You are able to block effectively whilst maintaining good off healing with a decent magicka pool)

+Buffs provided to the group through combat prayer and an easy rotation

-Low damage but as we are a tank this is not needed

Race:

There are probably many more efficient races for this setup, however I am running a Dark Elf for 6% increased Maximum Stamina and Magicka and flame resistance. Other alternatives for race could include Breton for reduced cost and potentially Argonian for the increased healing in shadow of the hist.

Attribute Points and Mundas:

I run 44 points in Magicka and 20 in Health which allows my stats to sit at around 16k Magicka, 22k Health and 13k Stamina unbuffed. Physical and Spell resistance on the Sword and Board bar sit at 25.5k and 24k unbuffed. I run the Atronach stone for increased regen.

Buffed Stats with CP100 blue health and magicka food(even better with CP150-160 food:

Magicka: 21k     Recovery: 781      Spell Resist: 31k

Health:   28k     Recovery: 550      Physical Resist: 29.5k

Stamina: 13k    Recovery: 514

Champion Point Setup (Currently at 265 champion):

Red Tree:

10 – spell shield

40 – Elemental Defender

39 – Hardy

Green Tree:

47 – Magician

20 – Arcanist

21 – Shadow Ward

Blue Tree:

34 – Elemental Expert

33 – Elfborn

21 – Blessed

Gear:

5 Piece heavy Hist Bark(4 trait craftable set) – Sword (sharpened) ; Shield (Sturdy) ; Cuirass (Nirnhoned) ; Greaves (Reinforced) ; Sabatons (Reinforced).

5 Piece footman – Robust rings and healthy necklace all with shield play enchants; girdle and gauntlets.

2 Piece Malubeth Heavy for the life steal beam.

This gives us a good block mitigation and a 20% chance to dodge attacks on our sword and board bar.

Defending on any restro staff for the back bar allows you to be more tanky when you are healing and a reduce spell resist or reduce weapon damage glyph would be useful for teammates

Skills:

Front bar(Sword and Board):

1.) Radiant Glory – Great execute that also heals you for a decent 22% of the damage dealt (other options for this include repentance for more resource management or Radiant Destruction for increased damage based off remaining magicka.

2.) Channelled Focus – Our buff for physical and spell resist that is up for 8 seconds after leaving the rune and also allows 240 magicka per second back when inside it.

3.) Pierce Armor – Taunt for 15 seconds and a great debuff on the  target.

4.) Heroic Slash – Deals damage, reduces movement speed, reduces damage by 15% and you gain ultimate, overall must have skill.

5.) Breath of life – Heal for yourself when low and/or for low health allies. Can be used whilst blocking for effective healing.

Ultimate.) Solar Disturbance – AOE snare and damage reduction whilst dealing decent damage also has a decent synergy.

Back Bar – Restoration Staff

1.) Ritual Of Retribution – Ground cast AOE HOT that has a purify and heal synergy and also deals damage to enemys in the radius.

2.) Luminous shards – Initial damage and disorient allows for effective suppression for large ad groups also allows others to regain stamina and magicka for continued dps and also helps if another tank is present in trials.

3.) Combat Prayer -Great Area heal that increases spell and physical resistance and increases damage dealt by a strong 8%

4.) Healing Springs -Massive ground area heal that gives magicka back for each ally hit.

5.) Breath of Life – Double barred for more healing but this can be considered a flex spot

Ultimate.) Remembrance – Good panic heal that gives a 23% reduction in damage when chanelling but I rarely use this ultimate in practice so could also be swapped out for war horn, Meteor or barrier

Potions:

I only use basic magicka potions as I rarely need to use them for resource management but tripots or any other potions could be used if you are having trouble with any resource in particular.

Rotation:

Before engaging on back bar:

Luminous shards for initial damage and group disorient

Ritual of Retribution for heal and damage

Bar swap and puncture to taunt boss or dangerous ads

if ultimate up, drop solar disturbance unless saving for damage reduction for heavy damage phases of boss fights

Heroic slash then channelled focus for magicka regen.

Heavy attack into block if stamina needed and heavy attack with restro staff for the most efficient regain of magicka.

Passives:

As always, all class based passives as well as all Sword and Shield; Restoration and heavy armor passives.

Room for improvement:

This build already works extremely well in everything I have attempted with it, I am running some blue and some purple gear and only cp 130 and 140 footman gear. So with the new footman CP160 sets coming in the update, all legendary armor and 501 champion points this build could become even more effective.
