If one wants certain skills, one might need to get up to an Alliance Rank in the 4-7 range. Getting to 2 is trivial — you show up, do the tutorial quest, and you reach Rank 2 along with getting 2 skill points. Every character should do that soon after hitting Level 10. But how does one get points after that? My questions include but are not limited to:
- What are the mechanics of getting Alliance points in PvP combat?
- Are there other ways of getting Alliance points?
- How does one join into PvP, if one isn’t going with guild mates? Look at zone chat? Post in zone chat? Does one need to formally join a group?
