EDITS:

6/19/2016 – Updated rotation and CP setup

7/15/2016 – Updated for Shadows of the Hist DLC

8/06/2016 – Slightly modified rotation

Race:

1). Khajit

2). Redguard

Both options are viable. While the highest damage output race for this build is a Khajit, Redguard is also a great option.

Attributes:

All in Stamina

Food:

Health and Stamina

Mundus:

Thief and Shadow

Champion Point Distribution:

Blue tree:

Mighty – 90; Thaum – 32; Precise Strikes – 51, Piercing – 4.

Red tree:

Points evenly across Hardy, Thick Skinned and Elemental Defender

Green tree:

100 into reduced cost, the rest into regen.

Gear choice:

7/7 Medium

5 TBS

2 Velidreth

3 Vicious Ophidian Jewelry

2 Sharpened Vicious Ophidian Daggers

All Armor with Stamina Enchants. All Jewelry Robust with Weapon damage enchants. One Dagger with Weapon damage Enchant the other with Poison.

Bar Setup:

Main Bar (Dual Wield): Evil Hunter, Rending Slashes, Power of the Light, Biting Jabs, Steel Tornado. Ultimate – Flawless Dawnbreaker

Offbar (Bow): Evil Hunter, Caltrops, Rearming Trap, Endless Hail, Poison Injection. Ultimate – Shooting Star.

Rotation:

Potion

Step 1: Power of the Light

Step 2A: Shooting Star>Rearming Trap>Endless Hail>Caltrops>Poison Injection

Step 2B: Rearming Trap>Poison Injection>Endless Hail>Bar Swap animation cancel

Step 3: Rending Slashes>Medium Weave>Power of the Light>Medium Weave>Jabs+ Medium Weave x 3>Bar Swap

Restart from Step 2B and reapply caltrops every 3rd bar swap, prior to Poison Injection

Reasoning:

For stamplars there are several very good gear combinations that can be used that basically involve combinations of 7 sets – Alkosh, Viper, TBS, Mephala, Kena, Agility, vDSA, vMA and Nightmothers. From my testing I found that the gear combination above gives the highest and the most well rounded DPS out of all those set combinations.

Questions:

1. Why not axe?

The bleed from Twin Blade and Blunt passive does not proc off of jabs. and your weaves have a very low chance to proc it.

2. Why Velidreth?

This 2 piece set can easily average 2.4k dps + in a single target fight, and over 7k in fights with multiple adds. It also offers a 1 piece weapon damage bonus, which also makes it very nice.

3. Why Poison injection the whole time

It has been buffed in Dark brotherhood and it does worthwhile damage now.

4. Why not Nightmothers?

Nightmothers actually just slightly outdpses TBS (less than a % advantage). Due to such a low discrepancy, I advocate using TBS over Nightmothers, in order to minimize mundus swapping/changing.

5. Why reapply trap before it runs out?

Because the minor force plus the increased damage from its buffed DoT is a huge DPS loss if we lose seconds on them both.

6. Why 5 Vicious Ophidian?

Between Velidreth and TBS we have 5 spots remaining, I believe that Vicipus Ophidian is the beat possible combination, between the increased crit, weapon damage and overall damage and the reduced cost, nothing else comes close. VO jewelry and vDSA daggers OR 5 piece Viper offer other viable alternatives.

Please do not hesitate to ask questions.
