Looking for ideas for PvP AoE Stamblade, Update 12

Hey folks!

With all the new sets coming out with Update 12, you’re probably like me, wondering whether and how you should change your build. Now for my stamina NB, I have some thoughts on a dueling or small-group build, but my role during my guild’s regular raid nights is to provide as much AoE damage as possible, while still being tough enough not to get killed and/or hopelessly snared in the middle of a melee.

Here’s what I’ve got currently:

Armor

4-piece Alchemist, 3-piece Hunding’s Rage (all medium, impenetrable)

Weapons

Bar 1: 2 Hunding’s Rage daggers, sharpened, disease/poison enchantments (often poisoned)

Bar 2: Alchemist bow, sharpened, unresistable damage enchantment (or poison)

Jewellery

3 Agility (Robust)

Skills

Bar 1: Steel Tornado, Deadly Cloak, Reaper’s Mark (or Manifestation of Terror), Ambush, Vigor; Ulti: Flawless Dawnbreaker

Bar 2: Bombard, Arrow Barrage, Siphoning Strikes (or Retreating Maneuvers or Lightweight Beast Trap), Relentless Focus, Shuffle (or Mirage); Ulti: Veil of Blades

Ideally, I buff up with Siphoning Strikes, Relentless Focus and Shuffle, toss an Arrow Barrage, pop a potion, switch bars, then Ambush into the fray. At that point, I am sitting at 4.5K weapon damage. Then it’s time for an empowered Dawnbreaker, Deadly Cloak, Reaper’s Mark, and then Steel Tornado the heck out of everything. It doesn’t always work out this way, but it’s nice when it does, because if someone goes down from Reaper’s Mark, then I get a big heal and Major Berserk.

So my questions are:

Does anyone have a critique of this? Do you do something similar (i.e. Stam NB, maybe different setup)?

What are your thoughts on Update 12?

I am thinking of switching out Hunding’s Rage for the Automaton set (Health, Stamina, Damage, 5-piece provides +400 physical damage), the Sword Dancer set (Health, Stamina, Damage, 5-piece provides +400 duel wield skills damage), or the Spriggan’s Thorns set (Stamina, Stamina, Weapon Damage, 5-piece provides +4000 physical penetration). Hmm. I have a feeling that each of these would be better than Hunding’s Rage, but it’s a tough choice. And I don’t want to be a dodge monkey, so Eternal Hunt and the like are out.

Thanks!
