Switching from magic based to stam

Hey guys and gals.

I have had my magic dk for about 6 months. I have found I just don’t like the play style and it could just be that I am playing it wrong and that’s fine. I want to switch to stam. Now my question is will I be able to keep my dk a dark elf or should I switch it to a orc or even a red guard. I mostly pvp but occasionally do enjoy a daily dungeon once in a while.
