Nightmer

This is a low-level (Currently 24) solo Mageblade for farming, but it came through with something good:

Mother’s Sorrow

2 Piece: Max Magicka

3Ps (Jewelry) Spell Crit

4Ps (Sash) Spell Crit

5 Ps (Mace) Spell Crit

This screams Mageblade to me, so after a respec, and Race Change, I set about building around it.  The mace is what dropped, so rather than the Twin Blade, and Blunt passive, I paired it with a Shield.

Race:  Dunmer, because I’m leveling my Breton right now, and I’m not up to level 21 yet.

Complimentary sets:  Torug’s Pact with Infused Weapons, and Fire Enchants for my Dunmer.  Since Weapon damage isn’t going to be all that high for a Magicka spec, but the Stamina is there, so I went with Night’s Silence for the sneak speed buff.  (Replace Torug’s Pact with Seducer’s to take advantage of Racial skills.)  I switch out the Belt for speedrunning the Delve, then put the Sash of A Mother’s Sorrow in for the Boss Fight.  (To farm for more pieces.  I’m hoping for a Shield to build a better swap-spec set.)

Skill bars:

DW is Refreshing Path, Swallow Soul, Silver Shards, Whirling Blades, Crippling Grasp, Soul Tether.

1H&S:  Double Take, Concealed Weapon, Pierce Armor, Impale, Lotus Fan, Soul Harvest.

I’m sure there’s more efficient ways to go about this, but it works for now.  Let me explain the 2 Stamina dump skills:

Silver Shards:  Not only is it multitarget (On my weenie sweeping bar) but it also triggers the Stealth attack effects of Stun (Single target) and you can pop it off from Range.  So, that’s a good opener, I Crippling Grasp, and Swallow Soul that one, then put out Refreshing Path for the rest.

Pierce Armor hits the Target (Like a Boss, for Farming) with Major Breach, making the primary spam, Concealed Weapon hit harder.  With all that Crit (From Assassination skills, currently up to 43%) this is Very Hard, without Shadowy Disguise to trigger an automatic Crit.  Doubletake grants Major Expedition, and Lotus Fan means even if they’re out of Range of Killer Blade, I can still catch Kiters without a barswap to Crippling grasp.

Like I said, it works.  I don’t have a VR Nightblade to test it in Craglorn (My favorite sandbox for group World Bosses.  It’s not Trials, but the Resistances are that high.)  So, I need to level one.  I’m leveling 2, so I’ll update this with the Breton version later, but I believe the extra burn from Fire enchants should make the DPS higher.  If you’re Enchanting, then Absorb Magicka should be the go-to for that.

I’ll just leave this here, and update it for Endgame when I get to it, but I need the notes for reference to get there.  I’m sure it will automatically be moved to Classes anyway.
