My build is called the “The Emperor’s New Build” it makes sure that you will never die or will be unlikely to die with a 95% success rate so far.
now everyone will doubt it, that is obvious, but I have tested and completed all Vet trials with always being the dominant healer (other healer usually dies) so I can keep fulfilling my role as a healer for the group, so do not try to dismiss this right away. I run 5 Spell Power Cure, with either Chokethorns(Chokerhorns because its like having a third healer its cooldown is not as it seems it wil be going off a lot saving those that should be dead or dying, it has numerous times shown its worth) or will flip to 5 Worm or Aether depending on group set up also Combat Physician is another good set for ultimate sustain, it says it has a cooldown but its a cooldow for each individual Example: crit heal 3 people at once all 3 get the shield but the cooldown makes it so each person can’t get the shield again until its done, so that set is good for trials, overlooked but good, if a mediocre non optimized group i go chokethorns.
That is gear, traits don’t matter too much, I use the Attronach for more recovery and make my jewelry glyphs reduce magicka cost, it is more efficent then recovery glyps or spell damage.
Now this is where its unique and strong, I have all my body enchants as health and ALL attributes in health, I am a Templar class and a Imperial Race, race does not matter for this, I say to go into health because I have TESTED for a long time between the max magic healer and max health and notice no change or visible change in how effective my heals are, Example: I solo healed the final phase of Mage in Vet AA with no trouble, the other healer died, I didn’t so I was doing what I’m needed for, if you’re dead as a healer, you’re USELESS.
I also did the numbers for you that want more, All of these are with 100 into blessed with champion points. 30k Max Magicka and 19k Health: Healing springs hits 1800 13k Magicka and 34k Health: Healing springs hit for 1200 so it is a 30-35% difference in healing if you go all health with only using the witchmothers Max Magicka and Max Health and Magicka Recovery drink.
Like I’ve shown with my testing, its not needed to have so much magicka, yes Elemental Drain and Siphon spirit will be 40% less effective, but no one ever complained about sustain being an issue, Magicka orbs is another way to counter having a less effective Ele and Siphon.
Skills: Main Healing Bar
Healing Springs
Breath of Life
Mutagen
Channeled Focus
Blazing Shield if you have 30k health. Its more effective for this build
ultimate: Aggressive Warhorn
Back bar: Purge
Blazing Spear/Luminous
Necrotic Orb
Elemental Drain/Siphon Spirit depending on group
last is flex and dependant on your group, you could use purifying light, ritual retribution or even dark flare in some instances like maw and shamans.
Ultimate: Nova
Weapons: Main bar: Maelstrom or Master Resto defending or infused. back bar: if ele drain, destro with crusher enchant same with a resto if using siphon, defending on both
Champion Points:
GREEN: mostly reduce magicka cost then magicka recov
RED: Mostly Elemental defender(50%) then Hardy (30%) and rest in thick skinned
BLUE: Mainly Blessed and then Elfborn
Once again, I have done all Vet trials with coordinated/optimized/non optimized and this build always proved its worth by always healing while taking massive damage Example: Shield Throw in Hel ra from warrior, you can block and still heal tank/group easy, so basically you can do more instead of having to dodge or do mechanics like Storm Attronach in Vet AA, I can take the AoE without even blocking or thinking its going to kill me like I’ve seen many healers do and die, this build is good for any panic situations or if something unplanned occurs, it has never failed me, I was never a burden, I always am the healer that doesn’t die and STILL keeps all alive and well.
I am the sole creator of this build, nobody helped me in anyway all testing was done by me. also let me know if this build worked or didn’t for you
couldn’t add photos, but basically here’s exact numbers: Max Magicka 30.5k Health 17k, Healing springs 1600, rapid regen 15.8k, Breath of Life 8.6k,
with Major mending/channeled focus: Healing Springs 2200, Rapid regen 19.6k, Breath of life 10k.
Now with my build: 18.9k Magicka, 31k Health, Healing Springs 1300, Rapid regen 11.7k, Breath of life 6.4k.
now with Major mending/channeled focus: Healing Springs 1600, Rapid Regen 14.6k and Breath of life 8k.
Now we have the math, it is a 20%-25% difference in healing which in miniscule at best, spread the word, Max Magicka Healers are not necessary for the end game whatsoever, my build will make it easy and still be doing your role better then most, as I’ve already run all with this and my healing is good and I reccommend this for Hard Modes or Vet Dragonstar, this has no drawbacks at all, only benefits.
