My goal is to improve my PVE vet dungeon/trial performance
I have a few builds and while most of them are fairly straightforward (dk mag tank, dk stam tank, dps sorc), I have an unconventional build I’ve been working on and I’d like some opinions and or advice.
High Elf Templar DPS
spell damage 3389
spell crit 28%
Yes, my crit is low and this is why I run w a spell power/spell critical potion.
My main spells are dark flare, aurora javelin, vampires bane and radiant oppression with a back bar set to dps/back up heal.
I am wearing 5 piece Rattlecage, 2 piece Torug’s Pact and I swap monster sets between Molag Kena, Grothdarr and Engine Guardian, depending on the dungeon or trial I’m tackling.
I am aware that dps typically don’t want to be primarily heavy armor, but I have attempted to change over to primarily light w 2 pc heavy and my numbers actually go down!
I’ve been told that my numbers are excellent & that they are higher than they should be for my build. The Rattlecage set really boosted my damage compared to the Julianos I was wearing, and it’s awesome. Dark flare regularly crits at 36k, about every 3rd hit.
The trouble is, I want higher. I want my spell damage closer to 4K, over if possible. I have a friend w a khajiit nightblade and his numbers are staggering- 7k weapon damage and 60% crit with WAY less CP than I have.
Im tired of having my build slammed because she’s pretty crucial with the damage she deals and has only lost 1 dual, to the previously mentioned nightblade.
What I was hoping for is constructive advice on whether or not the numbers I’m hoping to reach are viable with a Templar and if so, how can I achieve them better? As I previously mentioned I’ve attempted light burning spellweave, martial knowledge, etc. Is there a set I should be using instead of these?
sorry for the lengthy post, I felt as much detail as possible was important.
