This player-created build promises death to all but thy self.

Today’s Templar build claims to be an unstoppable force in combat, hardly ever having to stop fighting and only gets stronger the more there is to fight. Find out how he keeps his Stamina and health flowing while he cuts through enemies with weapons of light.

Sylar the Immortal

My name is FeaR Turbo! My goal when joining this game was to be the Strongest in the sense of not dying. I started off a healer leveling. Fragile I was too this new world. It’s pretty typical—a Breton Magicka based—but I wanted to figure out how I could maximize my abilities to keep me alive while being able to cut down my foe. I wanted a build that was Impenetrable with maximum survivability. So I become the Immortal, one who used the power of his foe against them. Without using Self heals casts, such as breath of life which would just in turn be me playing the catch up game and not the slaying game. So the build itself is simple, but there is a secret in its order. This build for soloing purposes, I have other builds for Dungeons and Trials. Here’s how to become Immortal:

PRIMARY BAR (One hand and shield)

This bar is your main bar, and honestly your only bar.

Low Slash (Deep Slash) – This is a great damage reduction ability. Also uses stamina which you will have plenty of.

Defensive Posture – Having this on your bar will increase your blocking power and reducing the cost. No need to morph it for this build.

Radiant Aura (Repentance) – This is your bread and butter for sustaining during combat. Gain Health and Stamina after you slay enemies.

Puncturing Strikes (Puncturing Sweep) – This ability has it all, Single Target, AOE, and self-healing. On top of all of that, it has a knock back on the last hit. Most of your healing will come from this.
Sun Shield (Blazing Shield) – Creates a shield for 30% of max health. But wait here is the good part. Shield gets stronger by 4% for each nearby enemy and returns 53% of the damage back to them when it explodes (AOE).

Ultimate – Radial Sweep (Empowering Sweep) – The other abilities work great, but work amazing and more effective with this ultimate. Work about the same as Blazing shield. Does damage and gives 15% Reduced damage for 8 seconds. Plus 4% for each enemy hit. The Ultimate only cost 72. So keeping this up is no problem.

SECONDARY BAR (One Hand and shield)

This bar is a more supportive bar to your first, but could give you more strength at the start of the fight, and I will go into detail about how.

Inner Fire (Inner Beast) – Ranged Taunt for those big pulls.

Rune Focus (Restoring Focus) – Pretty much stand inside of this and your first bar self-healing Immortal self gets a boost of armor and spell resistance on top of 15% increased healing.
Radiant Aura (Repentance) – See above

Bone Shield (Spiked Bone Shield) – Great for groups, but by now you know we return a lot of damage in melee range. So adding another 30% back to melee attacks just seems unfair.

Sun Shield (Blazing Shield) – See above
Ultimate – Nova (Solar Prison) – One of the best Ultimate in the game but will take longer to gain. Keeping up Radial Sweep is a must but this ultimate could be used when pulling mass groups at the start. (Shh, Solar Prison is cheating)

HOW IT WORKS

Pull group -> Blazing shield -> Spam Puncturing Sweep -> Use ultimate when ready -> Repentance after slaying -> Low Slash when out of Magicka/On major targets -> Repeat.

Use Spiked Bone Shield and/or Rune Focus right before the pull enemies swarm you.

ATTRIBUTES AND GEAR/Set up.

I put 62 points into health. I am a Breton which helps with how magicka intense this build is. I will explain gear here which anyone can get easily with some effort. I have created a new set and always updating as more armor comes into the game. I am using the Mage stone.

Currently Running 7 heavy armor in video. (Testing 5 heavy 2 light/ or 5H1L1M.. For the undaunted passive)

Vampire Kiss set – 5 item set

2 Items

Adds 10 Health Recovery

3 Items

Adds 118 Max Health

4 Items

Adds 4% Healing Taken

5 Items

Blood Frenzy: Killing an opponent heals you for 336 over 8 seconds.

Way of the Arena- 4 item set.

2 Items

Adds 118 Max Health

3 Items

Adds 78 Max Magicka

4 Items

Adds 78 Max Stamina

Both of these are craftable.

Also you can use 3 set Warlock or healer Neck/Rings. Enchant them with Magicka Recovery or Reduce Spell cost.

I am using other sets now with all the new armor that has come out, but here is a good starting point. Now go make your own gear with the skills i have shown you, and let me know! Vampire, those new master weapons, 2 item sets from the undaunted etc. Go Go Go! (:
