Orc Templar Healer

Hey guys! I’m here to share with you my build for my Templar Healer. (There are way better ones/similar ones than mine but i’m sure someone will get use out of my crappy guide..)

Attributes and Race: This is can be personal preference to most, I chose my race to be an Orc to get the extra Health, Stamina, and Health regen. This is not the best choice for a Templar healer, but it helps me not go down as much and allows me to have a bit more Stamina for blocking and dodge rolling.

With food, your stats should be around these numbers.

Health: 19k+

Magicka: 25k+

Stamina: Irrelevant

To get through content such as Imperial City, You’re going to need at least 17k health. All attribute points should be thrown into Magicka. You can put a bit into Health if you’re something like a Breton or High Elf. As I stated previously I have Magicka problems and simple magicka pot’s can’t get me through, So I usually throw on some bi-stat hood/drinks for more Health and Magicka.

Gear, Mundus, and Skills

Head: Engine Guardian, Infused

Shoulder: Engine Guardian, Divines

Chest: Kagrenac’s Hope, Infused

Legs: Kagrenac’s Hope, Infused

Waist: Kagrenac’s Hope, Divines

Hands: Kagrenac’s Hope, Divines

Feet: Kagrenac’s Hope, Divines

Weapon 1: Restoration Staff, Precise

Weapon 2: Torug’s Pact Dual Wield Swords, Precise + Sharpened

All pieces of armor should be enchanted with Health, you can put some magicka on if you’d like, but this is what I run. As for the Weapons, They should be Absorb Magicka on the Staff and 1 Sword, the other Sword should be Flame. I chose Kagrenac’s Hope because it is one of the best choices for most Magicka users, seeing as you get more max Magicka and recovery, some extra health, and you can resurrect allies 25% faster on top of the 20% you already get from the Master Ritualist Passive.

Some Mundus stone suggestions would be the Atronach or the Mage if you have issues sustaining issues. If you want a little DPS in your build and you can sustain you magicka pretty well then go with the Apprentice for the extra spell damage.

Bar 1: Restoration Staff

Healing Springs: A pretty good AoE heal with Magicka regeneration for all characters in the circle, it’s low cost and it stacks.

Breath of Life: I don’t know why any Templar Healer wouldn’t have this on their bar. This is THE BEST healing skill in the game!

Repentance: An excellent cost free skill that give extra regeneration in all attributes and uses dead bodies to heal everyone’s Health and Stamina.

Purifying Ritual(Flex): I have this here for another AoE heal and for the 30% increase in healing for everyone in the circle, you can replace with for Spear Shards and pick whichever Morph of it that you want.

Channeled Focus: Again, a MUST! Gives you more Spell and Weapon Resistance and gives you Magicka overtime. You can walk out of it and the effect will last a little longer.

Rememberance: 4 second big heals and a nice reduced damage effect to all allies in the area.

Bar 2: Dual Wield

Puncturing Strikes: Self healing decent damage dealer, Throw down a Channeled Focus and spam this and you should get some good damage in.

Breath of Life: It’s good to have this on both bars, if you don’t feel the need to double bar it, then feel free to switch it.

Structured Entropy: Increased Max Health while on your bar, increased spell damage and a minor self heal, this is usually a good skill to have while DPSing.

Radiant Oppression: I was debating on using the other morph, but focusing on a little more damage is good just incase you need to DPS. A great Templar only Magicka execute.

Purifying Light: Heals, heals, and more heals! This is a good skill to have just to throw on a mob real quick, does a small amount of damage and has pretty good heals.

Solar Prison: A monster AoE, especially if your allies activate the Synergy. Good to throw down when your team needs a little extra DPS.

Thank you to all that took a look at my build, This build has been tested in many different playing styles, It’s great for Veteran Dungeon’s and Imperial City Sewers. I will come out with future updates once i’ve tested it in DSA and Trials. Hope you all can get good use of this build!
