Hi all,
My main is a templar healer. I used to use purifying light quite a bit, but once I grew stronger I realized I could do more DPS on my own in the 6 second duration than the max hit of PL by slotting another skill entirely. I recently switched up my build because I got all my gold Aether jewelry (cheers!) so I’m now wearing 5 SPC and 5 Aether with maelstrom staffs.
I am applying Ele drain and the Aether procs on mobs for my group, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to bring Backlash back into the mix to sort of stack up those “debuffs” while also stacking up my group buffs. I want a skill to activate Dawn’s Wrath’s Minor Sorcery passive, besides Radiant which isn’t used until the end of battle. Another question I have is how accessible is the Minor Sorcery passive to other classes without my providing it? Is it worth it to bring this buff into consideration?
I was looking at the morph options for Backlash, and the stamina version does seem much better because it lowers target resistances. Being a magicka user, the tooltip for the burst damage is much lower than the magicka morph (I assume it scales off of stamina and is higher for stamplars) – Would the resistance debuff provide more overall damage than the smaller end burst? Would it be viable to use my small stamina pool for applying this debuff?
