****** This is a work in progress, will be updating PICS and TEXT over the next few days ******

Are you tired of meta healers? Wanting to try healing with a challenging, active, and rewarding build? Are you a templar healer that is getting used to your current trick, and maybe wanna experiment elsewhere………? This may be the build for you.

Those that currently or have played with me know i tend to try to exasperate every option in order to stay away from a “conventional” build/roll when choosing my classes.  And while a nightblade can definitely be a conventional Dungeon healer, i know because i have had my nb setup to run heal/tank/dps for daily’s with simple gear changes and crafted gear, i have been toying with reopening my “Average Joe Nightblade” build for a while now, but first before i do or dont, im going to go for a Trials NB healer build.

For those (you know who you are) that will put this build down as no providing no stam regen, yeah your right. good for you. have a cookie, no shards or repentance.  Thats why you duo in trials with templar healer :)

______Why a Nightblade?______ (editing)

Regen, bassically all hots, some extra damage, ULTI regen, mitigation, regen, oh did i say regen?

______Gear And Stats?______

I am running a High Elf Nightblade with the Atronach mundus (thief when running Siphoning Attacks)

Im currently running:

5x: Spell Power Cure

5x: Twilight Remedy

1x: Precise Vma Resto

1x: Sharpened Non Set Destro (waiting for powered vma/dsa)

Because your running 7 light, having a tank with ebon in group is almost manditory.

Other options (my preference) for this build depending on your group composition would be:

5xspc/5xgossmer

5xspc/5xworm

5xspc/5xlich

______Skills?______

I currently use 2 skill loadouts depending on group composition:

If you need combat prayer i would go with this loadout:

Bar1: Orbs, Refreshing Path, Ele Drain, Funnel Health, Inner Light – Ult: Aggressive Horn

Bar2: Combat Prayer, Healing Ward, Mutagen, Healing Springs, Inner light – Ult: Veil of Blades

If you do not need combat prayer i would go witht his loadout:

Bar1: Siphoning Attacks, Refreshing Path, Ele Drain, Funnel health, Inner Light – ULT: Aggressive horn

Bar2: Orbs, Healing Ward, Mutagen, Healing Springs, Inner Light – Ult: Veil of Blades

My flex spot is actually where siphoning attacks goes, sometimes you will slot purge here, there are many encounters that you can put Sap Essence in that spot, apply hots, and simply sap away, but the above is generally what i use.  There is not as much of a rotation as there is a awareness requirement, keeping hots rolling at all times is extremely important, and using combat prayer or healing ward for burst is mandatory. Every so often you should to do a heavy resto attack to get major mending (does not need to be kept up 100%).  You should keep orbs going as much as possible, minor force for magicka users is awesome if your using twilight, and if your tank is using alkosh or another buff set the synergy is awesome (plus its the only one we can provide)  you should mainly be using war horn as ulti, but there will be times when your veil is needed.  The reason veil and wh are on the bars they are is simply to even the hp out to right around 17k on both bars (nb passive dark vigor +3%hp for shadow skill slotted). Many encounters you can simply apply hots, and weave funnel; you can get 15-20k dps with path/funnel weave, just reapply hots as needed.
